Jason Patenlon owns a convenient store in the heart of Mumbai. It stocks foods, toiletries, cleaning supplies, that kind of goods you find in Walmart. Business is pretty good, he says. No surprise then that the world’s largest retailer wants to open stores in India, the world second most populous nation. Walmart CEO is not the only one looking for new consumers. Still reeling from the effects of recession back home, many top of American executives travelling with president Obama in his India tour say they want to increase trade with India.

Now, Walmart wants India to live restrictions and allow access to everyday consumers.
“We think it of course would be good for our business, we see the opportunity because of the India population, the rising of exploration of millions of India consumers. They wanna live a better life and we believe we can contribute to that.”
And let’s say opening up retailer will ease massive supply bargain lessen control thought the inflation. It’s estimated that around 30% of India’s farm produce spoil before it reaches consumers.
