Good morning, I am Bill. We all used lots of different brands of paper in nowadays business environment, but do you ever wonder which brand is the earliest one which started business in Taiwan?

Today I am going to introduce you Asia Pulp & paper. One of the biggest paper-making companies in the world. I have divided my article into three sections. They are introduction of APP, environment issue of APP. Finally, I am going to talk about the summary & conclusion. 

Let’s start by introduction of APP


Asia pulp & paper, an old company which was founded in 1962 by a Chinese Indonesian黃奕聰. It is one of the world's leading pulp and paper companies. APP currently base in Indonesia, and markets its products to more than 65
countries on six continents. APP is definitely a giant trees demander to maintain its papermaking business. That brings me to the next part, the environment issue of APP.

Environment issue

Even APP claims to use more than 80% of the fiber for making paper from sustainable farm. But at the meantime, several organizations believed APP was keeping using the raw materials from the precious rain forest. There was an investigation published by an organization called Eyes on the Forest. This investigation showed evidence that APP over developed at the 金寶 peninsula, one of the world's largest contiguous tropical forests, which is very important environment on Earth. But in recent years, APP increased their expending to protect environment. In 2008, APP China completed the Green House Assignment, and become the first Chinese company to pass this environment-friendly program.

Summary & conclusion

To sum up, APP is an old and famous paper producer in Taiwan. The brands of APP includes Paperline, PaperON, 倍舒柔, et cetera. APP provides high quality paper in Taiwan, but APP keep focusing on China market. It will try to build its image of responsible corporate, and try to expand its market share and capacity in China.
